Zero Waste Collection

The Zero Waste Collection consists of the Fille Rugs and the Fille Blankets, designed and made in Oslo. The rugs are a modern interpretation of the Norwegian “fillerye” or scrap rug translated, an age old tradition of using waste material or scraps to make rugs. The blankets are inspired by quilts or patchwork which are also traditional methods of repurposing fabrics. These methods of repurposing material is the most efficient because it does not require any further processing of the materials. The Fille Rugs and Fille Blankets are constructed from the luxurious lambswool off-cuts of Oslo based fashion house, Lillunn. They are inspired by a workshop between Thorsønn, Lillunn and Norwegian Fashion & Textile Agenda to investigate ways to reduce post-production waste in the fashion industry. Each product is one of a kind and carefully curated.
