Fille Rug - Blue

The Fille Rug is part of our Zero Waste Collection, designed and handwoven in Oslo. It is a modern interpretation of the Norwegian “fillerye” or scrap rug translated, an age old tradition of using waste material or scraps to make rugs. This method of repurposing material is the most efficient because it does not require any further processing of the materials. The rug is woven with the luxurious lambswool off-cuts of Oslo based fashion house, Lillunn . It is inspired by a workshop between Thorsønn, Lillunn and Norwegian Fashion & Textile Agenda to investigate ways to reduce post-production waste in the fashion industry. Each rug is one of a kind and carefully curated.
